For gripping, positioning and cutting
The Knipex 25 21 160 needle nose pliers which are pointed at the front and have tips at a 40° angle serve the user in many areas. They are suitable for the fine, measured gripping of components and for the powerful cutting of cable and wire.
Their cutting edges are shaped to produce a bite type cut. The cutting edges are additionally induction hardened to approx. 61 HRC. These pliers are therefore also appreciated for the ability to cut cable as well as soft, medium-hard and even hard wire.
Stable also when twisting and during powerful cutting
The angled precision tips made of vanadium electric steel are elastic and therefore stable when twisted. The user is easily able to find the right amount of manual force. Smaller components can be gripped gently using the right amound of force; larger components can be held securely. The cutting edges are in a favourable position near the joint, which produces a favourable level of transmission of manual force to the material to be cut. The effort required during cutting is accordingly low.
Work well even in confined spaces
The needle nose pliers from Knipex are tapered at the front. Because of this, and because of the additional 40° angle of the tips, it is possible to reach and grip components where space is restricted, e.g. when repairing electrical equipment, for plumbing installations and for building installation work. The slim needle nose pliers are a tool that is welcomed by craftsmen and fitters.
