Pliers for gripping, aligning and installation work and for cutting
The forged and oil-hardened snipe nose side cutting pliers from Knipex are primarily used for gripping, aligning and installation work. The second function of these pliers lies in powerful cutting – a regularly occurring task during assembly work. Their cutting edges are shaped to produce a bite type cut. The cutting edges of the pliers are additionally induction hardened, so that the Knipex 26 11 200 is even suitable for cutting hard wire.
Inherently stable when twisted – particularly strong when cutting
The precision tips made of vanadium electric steel are elastic and stable when twisted. This allows the manual force deployed to be well measured – forcefully where necessary. The cutting edges are near the joint which is advantageous for the transmission of force. The high cutting capacities achieved of Ø 3.2 mm (medium-hard wire) and Ø 2.2 mm (hard wire) are impressive.
